چکیده

Methane (CH4) is an important greenhouse gas and plays a significant role in tropospheric stratospheric chemistry. Despite the relevance of methane human-induced climate change air pollution chemistry, there no scientific consensus on causes changes its growth rates variability over past three decades. We use well-validated chemistry–transport model for simulating CH4 concentration estimation regional emissions by inverse modeling during 1988–2016. The control simulations are conducted using seasonally varying hydroxyl (OH) concentrations assumed interannual variability. Using atmospheric observations, emission inventories, wetland model, ?13C-CH4 box we show that reductions from Europe Russia since 1988, particularly oil–gas exploitation enteric fermentation, led to decreased 1990s. This period was followed quasi-stationary state atmosphere early 2000s. resumed 2007, which attribute increases coal mining mainly China intensification ruminant farming tropical regions. Investigating the Effect of Using Oil, Natural Gas and Coal on Economic Growth of Iran

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of oil, natural gas and coal consumption in Iran’s economic growth during the periods from 1980 to 2012. The stationary analysis is performed by using ADF and Phillips-Perron unit root test and Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach was used to test for co-integration between the variables. The findings show that the variables are co...

California’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Trends over the Past Decade

In August 2000, the California Legislature mandated that the California Energy Commission (CEC) update California's state-level inventory of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by January 1, 2002. This paper discusses the results of this inventory development effort, including (a) the process of harmonization with data and research results from other California state agencies and institutions, (b) t...

Coal-Packed Methane Biofilter for Mitigation of Green House Gas Emissions from Coal Mine Ventilation Air

Methane emitted by coal mine ventilation air (MVA) is a significant greenhouse gas. A mitigation strategy is the oxidation of methane to carbon dioxide, which is approximately twenty-one times less effective at global warming than methane on a mass-basis. The low non-combustible methane concentrations at high MVA flow rates call for a catalytic strategy of oxidation. A laboratory-scale coal-pac...
